Subject: RTI Reply from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), Government of India – Clarification Regarding the Post of General Secretary of RSFI

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find attached a copy of the reply furnished by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), Government of India, under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

The RTI reply clearly confirms that Dr. Bhagirath Kumar Dadich is recognised as the General Secretary.

Further, there is no post of “In-charge General Secretary”, and such a designation is not recognised by the Ministry.

In view of the above, all communications, circulars, notices, directions and certificates issued and/or signed by the so-called “In-charge General Secretary”, Dr. Pratap Kumar, are illegal, invalid and without any authority or official recognition, and therefore have no legal value.

All affiliated State Associations, officials, athletes and stakeholders are requested to take note of the above position and act accordingly.

This communication is issued for the information of one and all and to avoid any confusion or misinformation.
